A C41-es modell első tesztjére Barcelonában került sor: Kubica délelőtt, nem sokkal fél 10 után gurult pályára az új autóval, és összesen 29 kört tett meg a katalán ring rövidített vonalvezetését.
Az Alfa Romeo tájékoztatása szerint a bejáratás simán ment, nem volt műszaki problémák. A teszten jelen volt az istálló két versenyzője, Kimi Räikkönen és Antonio Giovinazzi is.
